iProbe Multilingual Solutions, Inc. is a New York City based company seeking service minded polished junior professionals with a pro audio, video or lighting education and a strong interest to work in AV to assist on jobs in the New York Metro area. Prior live events & and staging experience is a plus.
work consists of helping with load in, set-up, operation, strike and load out of audio, video, lighting, interpretation equipment and sound isolation booths during events at hotels, conference centers, corporate offices and museums. Systems are wireless (RF or IR). It's a plus if you have an understanding of VHF/UHF wireless systems and are able to identify sources of noise, and otherwise experienced at troubleshooting. Experience with lighting and DMX programming is a plus too.
assistant AV technicians must be able to maintain a professional and polished image under all circumstances demonstrate an abillity to work with clients and effectively communicate. Having a valid driver’s license and/or own vehicle is a plus.
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Depending on job, dress code is business (black suit and tie) or show black.
